The Resolution Process

The dispute process evaluates who has the most compelling case and determines the most fair and equitable way to resolve the conflict.

Overview of the Process

Once your claim has been approved, you can move forward in the resolution process.

Medium

The entire process can be done remotely via written communications. However, in some cases phone calls or remote video conference are used.

Once the dispute has been initiated, both parties have private communications with the neutral arbitrator through our platform. Our primary focus is to listen to each party's and try to understand the facts surrounding the dispute.

Tip: Each arbitrator is screened to prevent any conflict of interest or impartiality.

Evidence

Some parties may want to introduce evidence to bolster their case. Evidence is authenticated and given the appropriate weight by the Arbitrator. The burden of proof to win a dispute is generally by a preponderance of the evidence. This means it must be more likely than not that a claim or response is true. The burden of proof generally starts on the claimant.

Counterclaims

Once a dispute has begun, the other party has the ability to raise claims against the initial claimant.
