What is a Template?

Many users wish to create agreements for the same or similar types of transactions. Templates allow you to quickly create agreements using a previous agreement you have created as a starting point.

For example, a photographer makes a template for the different types of services she offers. Instead of having to recreate a similar agreement for every new customer, she can use a template and simply change the name and other details to fit each new scenario.

How to Save a Template

Making templates is easy. You can either create a template from scratch from a new draft, or alternatively create a template from one of your past agreements.

To create a template, simply click the ‘Save as template’ button at the top of the agreement view. This saves the agreement exactly how it is as a template.

How to Use a Template

When you wish you create a new agreement from a template, simply click ‘Create’ like you would normally do when you are creating a new agreement. Next, after filling out the required fields choose ‘Use Template’. You can either choose one of your personal saved templates or use one of the standard templates Hush provides. After selecting which template you want to use, you can finish editing the terms to your liking like any other agreement you are creating.
