Overview

Initiating a Dispute

Initiate a dispute when you believe the other party has violated your agreement. If you are able to prove your claim by a preponderance of the evidence, you will be compensated for any losses caused by the violation.

Eligibility

Certain requirements must be met for us to be able to hear your dispute.

1.
The agreement must contain a valid dispute resolution provision
Sides won't have authority to review your dispute unless both parties have accepted an agreement containing a valid arbitration provision.

2.
The agreement must be accepted
The agreement is not binding until the agreement has been properly accepted.

3.
There must be a material breach
The dispute has to arise from a material breach of a term or terms in the agreement.

4.
The breach must cause some harm
Harm can be physical, or monetary.

If your claim meets these requirements, then you may proceed to beginning the dispute process. We will review your claim just to make sure that your claim is eligible and will let you know whether your claim is approved or denied.

Tip: Filing a claim is free. Once the claim is approve there is a $199 arbitration fee to proceed. The arbitrator will have discretion to return this fee back to the winning party.

File a Claim

To file a claim, view the agreement that the dispute arises from and then select Options > "Dispute".

Tip: Approving a claim does not necessarily mean you will win. You will still have to prove your case.
